In life, there will come a time where we come across people who are only meant to be loved from a distance. It may require an exorbitant dose of strength and resilience but eventually what’s meant for you will come when you’re ready to appreciate every little bit of it. It will make sense. It will make the painful years a little easier to swallow. It will make the journey a little sweeter to look back on.

I know that sometimes you feel defeated. I know that sometimes you feel as if all of it isn’t worth the trouble. Sometimes, it can feel like everything is falling apart, and there seems to be no happy ending in sight. Or any ending, for that matter.
What is meant to happen will happen. Our fate is a mysterious force driving us through life and we simply have to follow the waves. Oftentimes, it seems pointless and meaningless, but remember that there is always a reason for everything. We may not see or understand the whole picture now, but when it’s done, we will understand that every stroke had a purpose, we’ll see how every little dot came together to create something meaningful, something worth looking at, something worth remembering.
Love will come in all different shapes, sizes, and forms. It will arrive like a tsunami when you have your back turned facing the rest of the world. You will finally have your feet planted ever so firmly on the ground, one foot in front of the other, ready to better yourself and focus on you and only you. Only then it will fall from the sky and hit you like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. Sure you may recognize it, but it won’t be like anything you’ve ever had.
What’s meant for you doesn’t come around very often, but when it does, when it’s not another lesson or another mistake, when it’s finally yours after everything you’ve endured and everything you’ve been through, it comes like a wave washing away the dirty past, the unfavorable choices and the painful endings. It comes to fix what you broke. It comes to heal you.
And what’s meant for you is something God has chosen for you only and you can hardly ever go wrong with that.
